Overview

Titanic Ice Cream sits nestled in the heart of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, just a stone’s throw from the Titanic Museum. This charming ice cream shop offers more than just a sweet treat; it presents a thematic experience that complements its historical neighborhood with a nod to the Titanic legacy.

The menu unfolds with noteworthy offerings such as the Titanic Banana Split and the 1912 Blend—each crafted to deliver a memorable taste journey. These highlight creations blend classic American ice cream with inventive touches, like Oreo pieces and layers of caramel and chocolate syrups in the 1912 Blend. For those craving something cold and creamy but with a twist, the Frapp-A-Tanics lineup—featuring flavors like Captain Smith’s Strawberry and Mocha Espresso—adds a playful depth to the traditional milkshake category.

The shop’s atmosphere is inviting, featuring a cozy space where families, tourists, and ice cream aficionados can unwind after exploring local attractions. The staff is consistently praised for being friendly and attentive, elevating the overall experience. While the flavor selection may be limited compared to larger parlors, the unique combinations offered emphasize quality and creativity over quantity.

However, music choices seem to be a polarizing point among visitors. While some enjoy the nostalgic ambiance, others find the repetitive soundtrack a bit out of place and emotionally heavy, suggesting room for a more varied playlist that better supports the lively and upbeat nature of an ice cream shop.

Overall, Titanic Ice Cream perfectly serves its target audience: visitors looking to indulge in a delicious, thematic dessert stop near the museum. The fusion of quality ingredients, well-executed sundaes, and thoughtful service makes it a sweet highlight in Pigeon Forge’s vibrant food scene. Whether enjoying a classic Hot Fudge Sundae or sampling the inventive Captain Smith's Strawberry Frapp-A-Tanic, this shop offers a thoughtfully crafted experience that lingers beyond the last bite.

Listen... I like "Up", I like the song Married Life by Michael Giacchino, but not when it's on repeat all day... Please please please add more than 1 song to the rotation and maybe pick a song that doesn't include a scene of a sad old man who loses his wife. Kind of a weird choice. Food was great, but the music choice bothered me.

I had a great experience at the ice cream parlor (Wednesday 5pm). The employees were actually very nice and attentive. I was surprised to see such a low rating. They do have limited flavors but tons of unique combinations that are delicious! I had the 1912 and it was surprising how good vanilla ice cream, Oreos, caramel and chocolate syrups could be. The quality and flavor is there!

I don’t see why this place has more ratings. They had incredible ice cream! It was a hot day that day as well so it was even more enjoyable then. I got a titanic hot fudge sundae and it was worth every penny. After you go see the titanic museum I definitely recommend stopping over here and enjoying some ice cream!

Banana spilt was amazing. It was not as sweet as we were expecting with all the topping, which we loved.

I've been to the Titanic museum before, several times with my family. I saw they added a "custard" shop and was excited to try it. I wasn't let down! From the moment you walk in, the smell hits you, and the ambient music playing in the background along with Captain Smith proudly displayed on the wall. Far as the custard, I had the "Whirligig" and my son "The Heart Of The Ocean". Probably the best custard/ice cream I've ever ate. A100

I cannot believe this place has only 3 stars when I’m writing this review!!! The frozen custard here is very good and so is the other food. Blueberry muffin is filled with a nice yogurt that is very good and the whole place smells like chocolate!!! I got the 1912 blend (pictured) which has vanilla or chocolate custard (I chose vanilla) with hot fudge, creme caramel and crushed up oreos and then they blend it up like a McFlurry from McDonald’s. I didn’t get it but the first class banana split looked amazing too! They also have strawberry and cotton candy custard and they sell pints to take home as well. Only complaint about this place is they play the same disney song over and over again but it’s an instrumental and I do love the song. Would definitely recommend at least getting a little bit of custard to try because this place is an experience just like the museum!
